If you live in South-West Missouri and have dreamed of getting into the movie industry, either as an actor or actress, or maybe in a crew position, you've come to the right place.
Quixotic Entertainment is dedicated to making movies on a small budget using unknown and local talent, both in front of and behind the camera. We use off-the-shelf equipment, computers, and software to make movie production affordable and available to more people. We believe that making movies should not be confined to a small group of elites in Hollywood, but open to anyone with a vision, talent, and a story to tell. With the wide range of distribution channels available today, the field is more open than ever. We hope to bring visual storytelling down from a far-off dream to a real possibility for those that might not have the opportunity otherwise.
Quixotic Entertainment is not a school; we help new people learn as much as we can, but we are neither equipped nor qualified to teach everything. We encourage anyone who has an affinity for acting, cinematography, writing, etc. to get whatever education in that field as they can. However, when it comes time to get that all important experience and first screen credit, we can help.
